Dealing with over 20 local & international suppliers, Folkways carries an extensive range of CD's, DVD's & vinyl.
Sourced from every corner of the globe, Folkways has a great depth of catalogue as well as the latest releases, with music ranging from Jazz, Blues, World, Classical, Soundtracks, classic Pop, Dance & Electronic.
With a fine toothcomb we have scoured the planet for classic, foreign
and arthouse movies and can safely say we have the largest collection in Sydney which includes classics by all the famous directors i.e Fellini, Kurosawa, Bergman to name but a few.
Our music DVD's are equally as diverse as our CD's ranging from Classical, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Country and even some obscure tuition DVD's from respected performers.

The lord of chill- out has returned. Jose Padilla the originator of the Café Del Mar series combines with the cool cats from the Man Ray bar in New York to delight our ears with the freshes,t newest sounds. Cool, calm, funky and oozing style.
- Various - Buddha Bar 7
Still going strong, and still uncovering wondrous gems from the minefield of the World fusion genre. DJ Ravin and DJ David Visan combine to furnish our ears with a more Indian and East Asian flavour tan previous Buddha Bar compilations. May not be as fashionable as once was, but still very, very good.

The Tall one from Massive Attack takes a turn on the wheels of steel. Mashing up reggae, funk, soul and dance in a flowing, upbeat and eclectic mix. One of the best DJ mixes we've ever heard. Do yourself a favour!
